- Yuengling's Ice Cream announced Tuesday that it would bring its frozen products back to stores in 2014, marking the first time the ice cream will have been on the market since 1985.
- The Yuengling family is best known for its beer, but the ice cream business remains a separate operation, started in the 1930s.
Ten flavors will be available, including the following:
- mint chocolate chip
- vanilla fudge chunk with pretzels
- chocolate fudge brownie
- root beer float
- Black and Tan, which is a chocolate and caramel flavor
You can read more on the Yuengling's Ice Cream Facebook page, but the company has a long and interesting history that's tied to Yuengling's dairy operations, which were originally started during Prohibition when beer sales were off limits.
