- Mane Inc., an international flavors, ingredients and fragrance company, has announced a $30 million seasoning manufacturing facility will be built in Lebanon, OH, to open next year. The seasonings are used in many industries, including snacks and for branded products and grocery store private labels.
- During the last five years, Mane has invested nearly $60 million to expand its manufacturing facility, and construct a headquarters and R&D facility in Lebanon.
- The seasonings category is a growing business line for the French company, according to Dayton Daily News, and a company spokesperson said the seasonings business is expanding as a result of consumer interest in non-GMO and organic ingredients.

Last year, McCormick and Co., announced the addition of non-GMO ingredients to its solid base of non-GMO products. The products included a non-GMO vanilla extract. Nearly 80% of the company’s U.S. gourmet herbs and spices are organic and non-GMO. More than 70% of all McCormick’s branded herbs, spices and extracts in the United States will be labeled non-GMO.
