Dive Insight:
This would be a good time to be the guy who provides moving services for ADM. All this shifting around and opening of new offices in Asia comes as the company is also relocating its corporate headquarters from Decatur, IL, to Chicago.
It's apparently also a good time to be a global grain-trading and processing giant doing business in Asia. ADM's reorganization comes as the company increases its infrastructure investments in the region -- building a sweeteners and soluble fibers plant in Tianjin, China, an animal feed facility in Nanjing, and hiring an executive to oversee logistics and port operations.
