- The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) on Wednesday announced that Russell Stover Candies Inc. has been cited for exposing workers to hazardous chemicals at its plant in Corsicana, Texas, which is home to 700 workers.
- OSHA has proposed a fine of $44,005 following an investigation that began in May.
- The extensive list of violations Russell Stover is being cited for includes failures to confirm that equipment met proper standards and properly document responses findings from a 2010 compliance audit.
