- In an agreement effective March 28, Ashland, Ore.-based Rogue Ales & Spirits and Missouri Beverage (MoBev), St. Louis, will join forces to distribute the manufacturer’s products statewide.
Since its inception in 1988, Rogue Ales & Spirits has experienced rapid growth and now offers close to 50 varieties of craft beer and spirits available in all 50 states.
MoBev is strategically expanding its craft portfolio to include local, regional, and national partners; its partnership with Rogue fits that strategy perfectly.
Derek Holmes, general manager of MoBev, said, “There is an incredible craft market in Missouri, and Rogue is well established as a quality brand.” Together with Rogue, MoBev will roll out a number of craft beers in the form of ales, stouts, IPAs, and more. Its spirits portfolio will include Oregon Single Malt Whiskey, Dead Guy Whiskey, Spruce Gin, Pink Spruce Gin, and Hazelnut Spice Rum. As we've seen, craft beer's growth has been remarkable, and partnerships to capitalize on the trend range from the slightly quirky to more mainstream movements like this one.
