- Special interest group Progress Texas is urging a boycott of Kroger grocery stores after the company urged the state’s Governor to veto legislation.
- The law was opposed by a number of business groups. It would have allowed employers to fight wage discrimination lawsuits in state courts and allow plaintiffs to collect up to two years back pay.
- The boycott is also targeting Macy’s Department stores.
