- Chobani plans to run its first Super Bowl ad, and plans to go all-out. The commercial is expected to run longer than the typical 30 seconds and will probably focus on the Greek Yogurt's new 100 calorie blend.
- Chobani's new Simply 100 Greek Yogurt will compete head-to-head with rival Yoplait Greek 100.
- Chobani is the market leader in the fast-growing Greek yogurt space, but has been losing ground to Yoplait and Dannon's Oikos Greek Yogurt. Interestingly, Oikos is also running an ad during the Super Bowl.

The Greek-yogurt battle at the Super Bowl may turn out to be more interesting than the game. Chobani has a lot riding on this as the company continues to struggle with the fallout of a recent recall.
