Dive Brief:
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that salads from Glass Onion Catering, a brand sold at Trader Joe's, are one culprit in a four-state E. coli outbreak.
- A recall by Glass Onion already includes 181,620 pounds of ready-to-eat salads and sandwich wraps containing cooked chicken and ham, and sold in 8 states.
- According to Trader Joe's website, all affected items have been removed from stores and customers are eligible for a full refund upon return.

The products suspected of being contaminated were sold at locations in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. Atherstone Foods, which is based in Richmond, Calif., along with Glass Onion, also recalled salads and wraps sold at Walgreens, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's locations in California. There have been 26 reported cases of E. coli connected to the outbreak in Arizona, California and Washington.
