Dive Brief:

• Yauk's Specialty Meats of Windsor, Colo., is expanding its recall of meat and poultry.
• The meat was produced in unsanitary conditions, which included rodent activity, the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety Inspection Service says.
• Products added to the recall include "Corner Post Meats" brand hams and bacon, "Old Style Sausage" brand smoked andouille sausage and "Old Style Sausage" brand smoked Kielbasa sausage, all of which were produced between April 1 and Dec. 5, 2013, and can be identified by the establishment number "Est. 20309."

This recall already included 90,000 pounds of various meats and poultries, including "Colorado Best Beef" brand fresh, smoked and shelf-stable meat products; "James Ranch" jerky and summer sausage; "Rocky Plains Meats" hams, bacon, raw and smoked sausage, jerky and raw poultry; "John Long Farms" fresh and smoked pork products; "Horned Beef" jerky; and "Mile High Hungarian Sausage" fresh and smoked bacon and sausage. Additional identification for all products involved in the recall includes four-digit Julian dates ranging between 3091 and 3339.
