How does one pull of the theft of 6,400 cans of baked beans? Well, if you want to know the answer, you could start by asking a truck driver who reportedly fell asleep in the British city of Worcestershire, snoozing away while robbers gained easy access to his cargo.
The bandits cut a whole in the truck and made off with the beans between 8:45 p.m. on Monday and 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, The Guardian reported. Needless to say, police are now on the hunt for a massive batch of black market canned goods.
So where are they likely to find these hot items? Well, don't look at us. We didn't steal them. But we bet they have a long shelf life and could survive for a while as the culprits lay low, looking for interest to cool down. Then again, if you were equipped for cutting into a truck to steal these beans, you might also have devised a quick plan for off-loading them.
