Oracle today recognized Noahs among the world’s most transformative technology partners in retail and food, naming the company among the top-3 finalists of 2025 IVS Start-up of the Year. This prestigious ranking provides a growth-driven look at the Oracle start-up partners that redefine the industries, exemplify innovation and showcase strong alignment with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
“This recognition is a milestone for how far retailers have come in their pivot into foodvenience — and how fast it’s changing,” says Daniel Baven, CEO and co-founder of Noahs. “Powered by Oracle’s Symphony platform, we’ve turned 100 retail locations in Denmark, into digital food hubs and grown transactions tenfold year-on-year. It’s proof that when an agile start-up partners with the world's most powerful cloud infrastructure engine, magic happens.”
Noahs is a fast-growing Copenhagen-based VC-backed startup building the infrastructure for the digital food economy. With a proven track record of innovation and rapid expansion, Noahs is set to change the status quo on the international food-tech scene.
The core breakthrough of Noahs technology is a zero-capex digital operating system that connects every part of the food operation — from kiosk ordering and third-party delivery integrations to inventory management, hygiene control, and real-time performance tracking. It turns any retail location into a fully functional digital restaurant in days. On top of that, Noahs offers a streaming platform for food brands — giving retailers access to proven digital restaurant concepts without the need to invent anything themselves.
Noahs Technology, powered by Oracle, has delivered outstanding performance. The Oracle-enabled Noahs’ platform generated €500,000 per month in new digital revenue across 100 sites, while slashing time-to-launch for new brands from weeks to days. Notably, these gains were achieved with zero increase in staff costs along with a 30% faster throughput. Moreover, 80% of transactions came from new digital customers, underscoring the platform’s capacity to attract and serve a broader audience.
Additionally, in pilot collaborations with Q8, the sites powered by Oracle-enabled Noahs platform achieved over 90% positive customer reviews, reflecting meaningful improvements in food quality and service.
“Retail is entering the food game — and it’s a trillion-dollar shift,” says Baven. “Together with Oracle, we’re laying the digital rails for that transformation. Our mission is to connect 10,000 retail locations to the food economy within five years. This recognition isn’t just about innovation — it’s about proof that when ideas meet execution, industries move.” - continues Daniel Baven, CEO & co-founder of Noahs
