WeStock recently closed on new capital that will help them expand their product services and position themselves as the first CRM platform built specifically for CPG brands looking to expand their retail sales.
WeStock is currently set up as a product request platform that empowers brands to capture consumer demand for their product at any point when they engage with their followers, customers, or subscribers. Brands can then leverage the data collected with WeStock to open up new retail banners, increase same-store sales, and drive velocity.
WeStock saw that brands were increasingly asking for features to not only better utilize the data they were collecting but to manage their retail sales as a whole. After hearing the same feedback from hundreds of their brand partners, WeStock decided to raise new capital and expand on their product set.
CRMs are traditionally built with SaaS companies in mind, but that sales process does not mirror the retail sales process where most brands are looking to both get into new retailers and manage the account effectively after getting in.

WeStock understands the battle to stay on the shelf is even more important than getting on the shelf so brands will also be able to alert shoppers when their product hits the store and upload their promotional calendar to keep shoppers attuned to when their product is on sale.
WeStock's current product will be updated in Q1 to reflect these new CRM capabilities. The hope is to create the perfect retail sales platform for modern CPG brands looking to create an omnichannel experience for their customers.
