Kalamazoo, Mich. (February 28, 2019) – JUNKLESS Foods Inc., maker of family-friendly, minimally-processed JUNKLESS® Chewy Granola Bars, is pleased to announce expanded distribution into more than 750 combined Safeway, Meijer, Food Lion and Food City stores along the East Coast and in the Midwest.
This expansion signifies the company’s growth and acceptance in the conventional channel, adding to the brand’s presence in select ShopRite, Kroger, HyVee, Lucky and D&W/Family Fare Supermarkets. JUNKLESS bars are also sold on Amazon.

Safeway’s Eastern Division has brought in all four SKUs of JUNKLESS® Chewy Granola Bars: Cinnamon Roll, 100% REAL Strawberries, Chocolate Chip and Peanut Chocolate Chip. The products are now sold in 108 stores in Maryland, District of Columbia, Delaware and Virginia.
Meijer recently began selling all four SKUs in 227 locations in Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Wisconsin.
Food Lion now carries three SKUs at 300 locations in Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.
Food City sells all four SKUs in 120 locations in Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.
