Seasoned Marketing Executive for Entrepreneurial Lifestyle Brands Joins Fast Growing Functional Beverage Company
NEW YORK, Feb. 28, 2018 -- ROAR Organic Electrolyte Infusions, the USDA Organic, low-calorie, low-sugar electrolyte beverage with antioxidants and B-vitamins, announces Eric Berniker has been appointed chief marketing officer (CMO). Tapping into his experience working on some of the most iconic beverage brands of the past decade, Berniker will help create a lifestyle brand that delivers on the unmet needs and aligns with the aspirations of a new consumer — the millennial hustler. Berniker will be partnering with CPG veteran Bart Silvestro, who recently joined as President & COO, to deliver on founder Roly Nesi’s brand vision.
As a veteran marketer in consumer packaged goods, Berniker joins ROAR Organic after serving as CMO of CORE Nutrition and its successful exit to Keurig Dr Pepper for $525 million in September 2018. Prior to CORE, Berniker helped grow glaceau vitaminwater and smartwater from small entrepreneurial brands with $25 million in combined revenues to the No. 1 water and the No. 1 premium water in the country with $700 million in combined revenues. glaceau was ultimately acquired by The Coca-Cola Company in 2007 for $4.1 billion.
