• Nestle USA is expanding its Anderson, Ind., beverage plant with a new $72 million production line.
• The line will allow the plant to produce more Boost and Carnation Breakfast Essentials drinks in addition to the Nesquick and Coffee-Mate products it already makes.
• The plant currently employs around 700, and Nestle hasn't said how many jobs it expects the expansion to add.

This new production line is Nestle's latest investment in its facilities worldwide. This year alone, the company announced a new bottled water factory in the U.K., a product technology center in Ohio, state-of-the-art pathogen research labs in Switzerland and the addition of wind turbines at a California plant.
