Dive Insight:
As the old saying goes, the key to choosing real estate is "location, location, location." That's certainly true in the case of La Moderna. The tiny town of Cleburne may be the perfect place for La Moderna to make its initial foray into the U.S.
Cleburne sits at the intersection of three railroads: the Class One giants, Union Pacific and the BNSF, plus the short-line known as the Fort Worth & Western. That should make it easy for La Moderna to obtain raw materials, particularly the Durham wheat that grows across North Dakota along the BNSF.
