- McCall Farms, which produces canned and frozen vegetables, will close two of its three yam processing plants and consolidate operations at a facility near its South Carolina headquarters.
- The plants to be shuttered, both of which produced canned yams under the Bruce's Yams brand, are in New Iberia, LA, and Wilson, NC.
- The closures come just one year after McCall bought the two plants from Bruce Foods.
