- Keurig Green Mountain has selected the site where it will manufacturer the pods for its upcoming cold-brew system -- Douglasville, GA.
- Keurig will spend some $337 million to renovate a 585,000-square-foot facility in the Atlanta suburb. The plant is expected to create 550 new jobs.
- The move comes just one month after Coca-Cola increased its stake in Keurig to 16% from 10%.

It's time to restate the obvious: The Green Mountains that give Keurig Green Mountain its name are in Vermont, not Georgia.
In fact, Keurig Green Mountain is a very New England company. And the folks who run the place were quite clear that they liked the whole "Green Mountain" image when they changed names back in March.
Still, we can't shake the sense that Coke's interest in Keurig Green Mountain involves something more than a partnership.
