Dive Brief:

• Coca-Cola and USA Technologies have agreed to settle their legal dispute over fees from vending machines. Neither company released details of the settlement.
• At issue was Coke's claim that USA Technologies failed to disconnect its card-reading technology from vending machines after the soft drink company ended its contract. Coke alleged that the payment services provider illegally collected roughly $1 million in transaction fees. 
• Coca-Cola filed its lawsuit against USA Technologies in August and sought $100 million in restitution and damages. 

Dive Insight:

We, and most likely every vendor and soft drink maker in America, would love to know what the terms of the settlement were. But unless someone leaks the juicy details soon, we'll never know if both sides eventually agreed that the disputed payments were collected in error, or as part of some sort of nefarious scheme, or just how much of that money, if any, was returned to Coke.
