Dive Insight:
It seems like there's an announcement like this most every day now. It was just two months ago that Kraft made a similar move with its macaroni and cheese products. And last week, Subway announced it was removing a controversial ingredient from its bread. For the life of us we can't imagine a scenario where this trend stops. If there are any food manufacturers left who aren't considering cleaning up their ingredients, it's time to start.
