There's something sort of unexpected about an Oreo-branded churro. Here in the U.S., churros are usually a simple, unadorned traditional snack sold by subway vendors, food carts, and Latin American restaurants.
But to a good section of the U.S., i.e., people who don't live in foodie-centered cities or travel to Central America, churros are unknown.
No doubt that means there's an opportunity for companies that are willing to manufacture a non-traditional version of the treat.
