- Hain Celestial has announced the appointment of Pasquale "Pat" Conte to executive vice president and CFO, effective Sept. 8.
- Conte originally was a financial adviser to the company and officially joined Hain Celestial in 2009. In October 2014, Conte was made senior vice president of finance and treasurer.
- Conte will replace Stephen J. Smith, who will remain with the company through Sept. 30 to make a seamless transition.

"[Conte]'s deep understanding of consumer goods, his forward thinking and tenure at the company make him a natural candidate to help us to continue to growth both organically and through acquisitions on a global basis," said Irwin D. Simon, Hain Celestial's founder, president, and CEO in a news release.
In its most recent earnings report last month, the company annouced a 19.6% revenue increase year over year. In the second quarter of this year, adjusted earnings per diluted share were a record $0.54, a 26% increase over the same quarter last year.
