- Isopure, based in Hauppauge, NY, makes nutrition bars, protein powders, and performance beverages.
- Isopure generated some $74.6 million in revenue in the year ending in July, putting the value of the deal at deal at slightly above 2 times annual revenue.
Dive Insight:
Isopure would appear to be a nice fit with Glanbia. The Irish company, which has its roots in Ireland's dairy industry but now operates in 32 countries, is a global leader in sports nutrition. But here in the United States, the company is best known for its Idaho-based cheese operations.
