- Dr. Pepper Snapple is looking to increase its logistics and distribution capacity in two locations.
- The Plano, TX-based company will lease a 377,000-square-foot distribution center in West Dallas. The company already has a distribution center in Dallas and another in nearby Irving, TX.
- Dr. Pepper Snapple has also entered an agreement to purchase the production, distribution, and transportation assets of one of its bottlers -- Davis Beverage Group and Davis Bottling Co.
Dive Insight:
It's impossible to say with any certainty what Dr. Pepper Snapple doing. But it does seem clear that the bottler is making good on its promise to try to boost sales by expanding distribution and availability of its key brands.
