- Chobani founder Hamdi Ulukaya is being sued by his ex-wife Ayse Giray for a controlling stake in the U.S.'s largest Greek yogurt producer. She partly owned the feta cheese company that Ulukaya allegedly used to found Chobani.
- According to Bloomberg, "Ulukaya alleged in court documents that his ex-wife filed her case 'only after Chobani had become a runaway success' and played 'no part' in building the business."

According to Bloomberg, Sam Hamadeh, founder and CEO of Privco Media LLC, a New York-based firm that follows private companies, says that this case could derail any plans the company had for a public offering. Hamadeh says that it would still be in the company's best interests to go public if it can.
