- Darlene Nicosia will become Coca-Cola's next chief procurement officer (CPO) effective April 1, according to a memo from the company provided to Food Dive.
- The current CPO, Ron Lewis, will return to Coca-Cola Enterprises as the senior vice president of supply chain.
- "Darlene brings a deep understanding and appreciation of procurement strategy and execution within our Company and across our system," says Ed Hays, who was recently named Coke's next chief technical and innovation officer, in the memo. "In her most recent role, Darlene was responsible for leading the procurement COE with a focus on capability development and execution of Global Sustainable Procurement’s Collaborative Procurement Model, and the implementation of Procure To Pay in collaboration with GBS."

This shake-up marks yet another executive twist for the company. Coke was also recently in the news regarding its work with health experts and the coming expansion of Apple Pay in more of its vending machines. These changes are designed to lead to stronger results for the company in its next quarter as it seeks some revamping.
