- Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) has named Kenneth Campbell as president of Wild Flavors and Manda Tweten as president of the Specialty Commodities business.
- The Wild Flavors and Specialty Commodities businesses are part of ADM's Wild Flavors and Specialty Ingredients business unit, which the company formed after acquiring WILD Flavors GmbH and Specialty Commodities, Inc. (SCI) in 2014. The unit offers a portfolio of ingredients that address taste, texture, nutrition and function.
- Campbell, who most recently was president of ADM's Specialty Commodities business, has 18 years of experience with ADM. Tweten joined ADM when it acquired Wild Flavors and was vice-president, sales, North America. "In Ken and Manda, ADM is tapping two leaders with exceptional track records for expanding and deepening customer relationships," said Vince Macciocchi, president, Wild Flavors and Specialty Ingredients business unit. "They recognize that our food industry customers are seeking a true partner to help them anticipate and respond to changing consumer tastes."

Wild Flavors and Specialty Ingredients is a bright spot for ADM, which reported lower-than-expected earnings for the second quarter. The unit earned a strong $104 million. The unit gives ADM the broadest portfolio of ingredients of any company in the marketplace, according to a company press release.
