- Juan Luciano, president and CEO of Archer Daniels Midland Co., announced a $2 million investment in the National Foodworks Services project being developed in the former Brush College School in Decatur, IL.
- Luciano told Herald & Review that "The investment will help transform the school into a food incubator with state of the art equipment that fits with ADM's focus on developing products using healthy ingredients."
- Luciano also announced a food and beverage challenge which would inspire entrepreneurial ideas and encourage entrepreneurs to put their ideas into action.

ADM will use this facility to continue to adapt to the consumer health trend, which is encouraging many major food companies to rethink their portfolios and develop new or retool existing products.
