This week's food and beverage product launches displayed some of the popular trends in the retail market today. All signs point to the continued growth of the energy drink market as Red Bull released new flavors, Xyience launched a new line and Eboost licensed the development of energy concentrate for SodaStream's home soda maker.
Meanwhile, Dunkin' Donuts released its timely Irish Creme line in anticipation of St. Patrick's day and Tropical Smoothie Cafe tried to capitalize on the healthy desires of its customers. Take a look at these new launches and more in Food Dive's Flavors of the Week:
1. CRANBERRY AND LIME RED BULL
Company: Red Bull GmbH
After the success of a six-week retail test last year, Red Bull has announced the nationwide launch of three Red Bull Editions. The new red, silver and blue can designs will contain cranberry, lime and blueberry-flavored Red Bull Energy Drink, respectively, are available at retail beginning this week.

2. WHITE HOT CHOCOLATE AND WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA
Company: Ghirardelli Chocolate Company and Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme has announced it will use Ghirardelli's White Chocolate Sauce to launch its new beverage options—White Hot Chocolate and White Chocolate Mocha—which will be available through April 21.

3. ISLAND GREEN AND CARRIBEAN CARROT SMOOTHIES
Company: Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Tropical Smoothie Cafe has announced the release of two new smoothie flavors—Island Green, which contains fresh spinach, kale, mango, pineapple and banana, and Caribbean Carrot, which is made with carrots, mango, banana, goji and orange juice.

4. IRISH CREME DONUTS AND BEVERAGES
Company: Dunkin' Donuts
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Dunkin' Donuts has announced the launch of its limited edition Irish Creme products, which include donuts, coffee, lattes and frozen coffee coolattas. The new offerings will hang around for the month of March.

5. AMAZIN BERRY BLEND, AMAZIN CRANBERRIES AND PLUMSWEETS
Company: Sunsweet Growers
Sunsweet Growers has announced the launch of two new Amazingly Snackable dried fruit products, Amazin Cranberries and Amazin Berry Blend, while PlumSweets, Sunsweet's chocolate-covered diced plums, will boast a packaging redesign by April 2013.
6. SUPER-BERRY AND OCEAN SPRAY SODASTREAM CONCENTRATES
Company: SodaStream International and Eboost
SodaStream has teamed up with Eboost, an energy drink manufacturer, to further expand its flavor portfolio. Under the licensing agreement, Eboost will produce Orange and Super-Berry energy drink concentrates exclusively for SodaStream's home carbonation system.
SodaStream also announced with a partnership with Ocean Spray to develop three juice blend concentrates for SodaStream's home soda maker. Regular and diet versions of cranberry, cranberry-grape and cranberry-raspberry juice blend concentrates are expected for release in the second half of 2013.
7. XENERGY + TEA, XENERGY + HYDRATION AND XENERGY + LEMONADE
Company: Xyience
On March 1, Xyience launched its Xenergy + energy drink line. The non-carbonated, zero-calorie, sugar-free and vitamin-fortified beverage comes in three flavors—Xenergy + Tea, Xenergy + Hydration and Xenergy + Lemonade.
