Green Giant got serious about snacks this week, while Hawaiian Punch joined the breakfast club with its new beverage launch. 1. GREEN GIANT VEGGIE, CHEDDAR AND SWEET POTATO SNACKS
Company: Green Giant
Best recognized for their canned and frozen vegetables, Green Giant announced a few new plays for the snack aisle this week, with Zesty Cheddar Flavor Roasted Veggie Tortilla Chips and Sea Salt Flavor Multigrain Sweet Potato Chips on their way. The push is emphasizing the products as nutritional alternatives to standard chips.

2. GLACEAU CARBONATED FRUITWATER
Company: Coca-Cola
Glaceau will try to claim some new territory in the beverage market on April 1, CBS News reports. The Coca-Cola unit will carbonate its new "fruitwater" offering and sweeten it with sucralose, Expect to see "enhanced with nutrients," along the lines of what's already in Vitaminwater, even the new fruitwater doesn't actually contain any juice.

3. QUATTRO FORMAGI AND SUPREME PIZZERIA! DIGIORNO PIZZAS
Company: Nestle
Nestle announced that Digiorno's new pizzeria! line of frozen pizzas will leave out preservatives and artificial flavors a new line that includes Quattro Formaggi/Four Cheese, Supreme Speciale, Primo Pepperoni and Italian Meat Trio options. The press release says these are available nationwide.

4. CITRUS HAWAIIAN PUNCH ALOHA MORNING
Company: Dr Pepper Snapple Group
Hawaiian Punch looks like it wants to join Mountain Dew at the breakfast table. The Dr Pepper Snapple Group last week revealed three new flavors of Hawaiian Punch Aloha Morning, a breakfast option with Vitamins A, C and E, as well as a less sugar than other juice alternatives.

5. APPLEGRAPE GOGO SQUEEZ
Company: Materne
Materne's applesauce combo flavors added a new family member last week. AppleGrape joined ApplePeach, AppleCinnamon and number of other names. The official announcement lists Walmart, Target, Costco, Kroger and Whole Foods among the major retailers who are now carrying these pouches.
